HELLA JONGERIUS - VITRA

Le nouveau petit pouf Mochi qu'Hella Jongerius a dessiné pour Vitra est à la fois une assise complémentaire à un fauteuil ou à un canapé, et une jolie touche graphique, à placer dans un salon, une chambre, une salle de jeux... Comme toutes les créations de la designer hollandaise, Mochi porte sa signature : choix de couleurs pertinent, contraste intelligent, coutures à la fois fonctionnelles et esthétiques, sans oublier le petit ruban sur le côté, qui vient signer l'objet. En charge de la redéfinition des coloris des grands classiques de Vitra depuis presque 5 ans, Hella Jongerius a donc décidé d'innover en créant ce pouf, clin d'oeil à peine dissimulé au très beau pouf Bovist qu'elle avait déjà imaginé pour Vitra en 2005. 

The new seating option Mochi is suitable both as a piece of furniture and as a colourful accessory in all kinds of living areas. Like all designs of Hella Jongerius, Mochi bears the clear signature of the Dutch designer: The soft seating furniture with its loving details and various contrasting colour combinations makes a bold statement in any living environment. Mochi is both a spontaneous seating option and a decorative ottoman for lounge chairs and sofas. Mochi is initially a special japanese rice paste, used to prepare a traditional cake of the same name. It is their round, colorful and playful appearance, as well as their characteristic softness that inspired the name of the new pouf. The knit-to-fit cover was specially developed for Mochi and is easy to remove and clean. Thanks to the robust floor cover, the pouf can be used everywhere.
