PRATER CHAIR
RICHARD LAMPERT

The idea for this chair comes by reflecting about traditional Viennese wooden chairs which you find in the Kaffeehaus for example. The rigorous approach and the playful details of these have been reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The chair is made of birch plywood, glued with black phenolic resin. By milling the glue becomes visible which gives the strong graphical impact. Prater is available in natural birch color, yellow or black stained and always with arm rest and stackable.
