My Chair est une chaise sobre et versatile au design intemporel. Le designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen a réinterprété la chaise empilable classique (Arne Jacobsen) en lui donnant une élégance et une harmonie remarquables. Le design épuré de cette chaise est contrebalancé par ses coins arrondis et sa silhouette toute en courbes, qui lui confère son apparence chaleureuse et accueillante.

L'assise est réalisée en placage moulé, un matériau durable, mais assez flexible pour épouser les formes du corps et en suivre les mouvements. Le degré d'inclinaison de son dossier est légèrement plus ouvert que sur la plupart des chaises afin d'offrir un confort amélioré lorsque l'on s'y adosse. My Chair est réalisée en frêne ou en chêne, sur des pieds en acier laqué déclinés en six coloris classiques, et il existe également une version entièrement noire.

My Chair is a simple, all-round stackable chair in a timeless design. With this chair, the designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen has reinterpreted the classic shell chair and added a striking elegance and harmony. The rounded corners and curved waist counterbalance the rigorous design of the chair and give it a warm and welcoming feel.

Apart from the aesthetics of the chair, a great deal of depth has been gone into areas such as durability and comfort. The shell consists of moulded plywood, a durable material that is also flexible and moves with the body. The curves of the shell follow the shape of the body while the angle of My Chair's back rest is slightly more open than on most other chairs. This makes it more comfortable when you lean back.

My Chair is available in ash or oak with a lacquered steel frame and comes in one of six classic colors. Additionally, a totally black version of the chair is also available.
