Pour Normann Copenhagen, Creative Affairs a conçu Bark, une chaise empilable, sobre et sophistiquée, à la facture artisanale de grande qualité. L'assise donne presque l'impression de flotter sur la structure divisée en plusieurs sections, conférant ainsi à Bark une légèreté inattendue. 

Le design de Bark est à la fois doux et graphique. Elle regorge d'angles subtils et obliques, qui lui donnent un style contemporain plein de caractère, tandis que son assise et son dossier, larges et arrondis, la rendent accueillante, tout en lui procurant une stabilité et un confort optimaux. 

Creative Affairs explique: « Nous voulions concevoir une chaise qui mettrait l'artisanat en valeur. Pour Bark, nous avons cherché à exploiter au maximum les possibilités offertes par le travail artisanal du bois. Le résultat : une chaise fonctionnelle, au design intelligent qui se démarque de la tradition ».

Creative Affairs has designed the Bark for Normann Copenhagen. It is a simple and sophisticated stackable chair of top quality craftsmanship. The seat appears to almost hover over the sectioned frame. This gives Bark an unanticipated lightness to its appearance. 

Bark has a simultaneously soft and graphic design. The chair is full of interesting and slanting angles, giving it a contemporary feel oozing with character. At the same time, the wide, rounded seat and back make the chair inviting and provide optimal stability and comfort. 

Creative Affairs say: ”Our aim was to create a chair emphasising craftsmanship. With Bark, we have tried to fully exploit the processes at hand for working with wood. In short, the end result is a functional chair with an unconventional and intelligent design.” 

The chair is available in a classic, refined black. Bark is perfect for use as a dining chair for the kitchen or in the dining room but is equally suited, for example, in the office.
